To record activities for single or multiple contacts, first perform a Search.
From the search results, select which records you want. Your options for choosing contacts are:
From the -more actions- dropdown menu at the top of the list of found contacts, choose Record Activity for Contacts and click Go.
This will bring you to the "Record An Activity" screen.
Created By - CiviCRM fills in the current user's email address
Activity Type - Select the activity type from the dropdown menu
NOTE: The options here will depend on the activity types your administrator has set.
Subject - Enter a subject for the activity
Location - Enter a location for the activity
Date and Time - Enter a date and time for the activity
Duration - Enter the duration of the activity
*Status * - Select Scheduled or Completed (Activity will be moved to Activity History when status is 'Completed')
Details - Enter details about the activity
Number of Selected Contacts indicates how many contacts will have this activity recorded for them.
Click Record Activity for Contacts to finish or Cancel to cancel.
