Custom Data Fields & Custom Data Groups
The Custom Data Fields & Custom Data Groups functions allow you to create groups of data fields that are completely customized to your needs. These can be used in conjunction with Profiles to support a variety of business processes.
There is a list of questions you need to answer when creating custom data fields and custom data groups. These questions focus on how you will use the data and the type of data the field will hold. The better you can articulate your needs, the better your results will be. Take the time to think about these aspects when creating custom fields and groups.

Custom Data Fields & Custom Data Groups can hold information about contacts, activities or events, are searchable and can be the basis of Smart Groups.
