Return to Manage Contribution PagesMain Manage Online Contribution PageIn CiviCRM you can create many contribution pages and use them for different purposes. You can change the content as often as you wish to include special events, promotions, campaigns or any other activity for which you want to collect donations. Begin at the Administer CiviCRM page. In the CiviContribute section, choose Manage Contribution Pages. You will see a list of existing online contribution pages (if any have been setup). NEW CONTRIBUTION PAGETo create a New Contribution Page, click on the >>New Contribution Page link at the bottom of the list of pages. You will be brought into the configuration pages, where there are six steps involved: Title and Settings, Contribution Amounts, Configure Membership, Thank-You and Receipting, Include Profiles and Configure Premiums. EXISTING CONTRIBUTION PAGESFor Existing Contribution Pages, you can Configure Page, Test Drive, Live Page, Disable, Delete or Copy Contribution Page using the links to the right of each existing page listed. CONFIGURE PAGEClick on Configure to modify an existing configuration. This will bring you to a list of the same sections used when setting up a new contribution page. Select the section you want to modify and make your modifications. Click Save to save your changes and return to the Main Configure Contribution Page page, Cancel to cancel the changes. In this section you may also Test-Drive and review your Live Page. This section also provides the URL of the Contribution Page so you can link to the page from various places on your website. Create links to this contribution page by copying and pasting the URL into any web page. TEST DRIVEClick on Test Drive to test how your page works. You will be taken to your contribution page and see the message:
Review the page and note any changes you want to make, or make a donation as described in the message above. Click Continue to submit the Contribution. If any required fields are not correctly completed, you will see an error message, such as:
Correct the errors and click Continue to submit the contribution. If successful you will be brought to the verification page and see the message
Review the information and click the Go Back or Make Contribution button. When you click Make Contribution the button label will change to say "Processing". You will then be brought to the Thank-You page where you can note any changes you want to make. Besides the title, message and footer you configure, the Thank-You page includes the message:
The Thank-You page also contains sections including Contribution Information, Billing Name and Address and Credit or Debit Card Information. You can check that the contribution has been processed by going to the CiviContribute section of CiviCRM and under Find Contributions search for the contribution. LIVE PAGEClick on Live Page to view the actual live contribution page, where you can preview all the page elements exactly as they appear on your site. DISABLEClick Disable to disable a Contribution Page. You will see the warning:
Click Cancel to leave the page enabled or OK to disable the page. DELETEClick Delete to delete a Contribution Page. You will see the warning:
Click Cancel to leave the page in place or OK to delete the page.
Click Cancel to cancel or Delete Contribution Page to continue. If successful, you will see the message:
COPY CONTRIBUTION PAGEClick Copy Contribution Page to make a full copy of that page. The system will automatically copy all elements of that page and add a new page to the list titled "Copy of (PAGE NAME)". Click Save to save the changes or Cancel to cancel. |
