Mailing Headers, Footers and Automated Messages

On this page you can EDIT, DISABLE or create a NEW Mailing component.

From the list of messages, click Edit to change a message or Disable to disable the ability to use that message.

To create a new message, click >>New Mailing Component at the bottom of the list. You may create as many versions of each of these messages as you need.

Headers, footers and other messages allow you to create consistency among the emails you send out, as well as providing standard information to the recipients, including the elements required by law: physical address, unsubscribe and opt-out links.

Auto-responder - If a recipient of your mailing replies to your message, this is the message they will get back. This is useful to let people know if replies are not forwarded to a persons email, where they should go for questions or issues. For Example:

"Thank you for contacting us. This email box is not monitored. If you have questions or need other assistance, please contact us at: customerservice@nonprofit.org or at 415.555.2121."

Mailing Footer - This is a message that will appear at the bottom of every email sent out.

Mailing Header - This is a message that will appear at the top of every email sent out.

Opt-out Message - This is a message that must appear in every email sent out. It allows recipients to "opt-out" of receiving future emails from you. This is required by law to be included in every email.

Subscribe Message - This is the message that new subscribers to your email list (s) will see once they confirm their desire to subscribe.

Unsubscribe Message - When a subscriber decides to unsubscribe from your email list and clicks on the "unsubscribe" link, this is the message they will see to confirm that they are no longer subscribed.

Welcome Message - When a subscription is completed online, this is the message that subscribers will see, welcoming them to your email or enewsletter list.
