Documentation Credits

CiviCRM Documentation is a collaborative project of the community of CiviCRM users, developers and integrators. Folks highlighted on this page have made significant and ongoing contributions.

John Kenyon
In 2007, the original documentation structure, standards and content were developed by John. The initial project included the Planning, User and Administrator guides. This provided a solid foundation on which many other community members will build for future releases. John has been helping nonprofits with technology for over fifteen years through writing, consulting and training projects. Contact him at

Judy Hallman
Judy single-handedly migrated and updated all the content from our old FAQ site to the wiki. In addition she has acted as a primary reviewer for the entire documentation rewrite project - contributing a wealth of feedback and suggestions. Recently she took on the task of creating a guide to the "sample data" included in CiviCRM distributions.

Ben Vautier
Ben developed and has maintained the Entity-Relationship (ERD) page which provides a graphical representation of the CiviCRM database schema, and is a very useful tool for developers.
