Return to Administrator's GuideAccepted Credit Cards OverviewAccepted Credit Cards provides a way to manage the credit card options offered to contributors using your Online Contribution pages. You will need to verify which cards are accepted by your chosen Payment Processor and update these entries accordingly.
Accepted Credit Card TypesBegin at the Administer CiviCRM page. In the CiviContribute section, choose Accepted Credit Cards. You will see a list of existing accepted credit cards. You can create a NEW accepted credit card or Edit, Disable or Delete EXISTING accepted credit cards using the links to the right of each type. NEWTo enter a New Accepted Credit Card, click on the >>New Accepted Credit Card link at the bottom of the list of credit cards. Type in the Label, Description and Weight. You can enable/disable the option by checking or unchecking the box labeled Enabled? Click Save to save the accepted credit card. If successful, you will see the message:
EXISTINGFor EXISTING accepted credit cards you can Edit, Disable or Delete each option using the links to the right of each accepted credit card. EDITSelecting Edit will bring you to the Edit Accepted Credit Card page where you can change the Label, Description and Weight. Here you can also enable/disable the accepted credit card by checking or unchecking the box labeled Enabled? Click Save to save the accepted credit card. If successful, you will see the message:
DISABLESelect Disable to temporarily disable an existing accepted credit card. You will see the warning:
Click OK to continue or Cancel to cancel disabling the accepted credit card. To re-enable the accepted credit card, simply click on Enable. DELETESelect Delete to delete the accepted credit card. You will be given this warning:
Click Delete to continue or Cancel to cancel the deletion. |
