From the Mailing screen list of mailings sent, click on Report. You will be taken to the CiviMail Report screen.
For mailings not yet sent, this screen lists Recipients, Mailing Settings and Content/Components.
For mailings that have been sent, this screen lists Delivery Summary, Recipients, Mailing Settings and Content/Components.
See below for details on the report sections.
This section lists the results of your mailing.
Clickable Summary Fields:
Intended Recipients - Click this link to see a list of recipients contact name, email address plus the date and time they were sent the mailing.
Successful Deliveries (percentage) - You will see a percentage indicating what percent of intended recipients actually received the mailing. Click the link to see a list of recipients contact name, email address plus the date and time the mailing was successfully delivered.
Tracked Opens - If you selected "track opens" while creating the mailing, this will indicate the number of people who opened the mailing. Click on the link to see the list of recipients with the date(s) and time(s) they opened the email
Click-Throughs - If you selected "track click-throughs" while creating the mailing, this will indicate which URLs or links were clicked on by the mailing's recipients. Click on the link to see the list of recipients, their email address, the URL that they clicked on and the date/time(s) of their clicks.
Forwards - Click this link to see by who and when the email was forwarded by recipients. If none, you will see the message "There are currently no forwards".
Replies - Click this link to see by who and when the email was replied to by recipients. If none, you will see the message "There are currently no replies".
Bounces - Click this link to see how many times the email was "bounced". This is most often caused by inaccurate email addresses but can also be caused by a full mailbox or an email server that is down. If none, you will see the message "There are currently no bounces".
CiviMail will try to deliver an email XXX TIMES OVER XXX HOURS before reporting a bounce.
Unsubscriptions - Click this link to see how many times recipients of the email clicked on the link to "unsubscribe" to mailings. If none, you will see the message "There are currently no unsubscriptions".
Static Summary Fields:
Scheduled Date - The date and time the mailing was scheduled to be sent
Retry Mailing - Click this link to reschedule sending the mailing or to send it immediately
If you indicated "Track Click-Throughs" when setting up your mailing, you will see a table listing the click-throughs. The table includes Clicks, Unique Clicks and Success Rate for each URL in your email that was click-able.
This section lists the groups Included and Excluded from the mailing, based on the choices made when setting up the mailing.
This section lists the mailing settings created when setting up the mailing.
This section lists the content of the mailing and the components that you associated with the mailing.
Reply Auto-responder (click to see the settings for this item)
Unsubscribe Unsubscribe Message (click to see the settings for this item)
Opt-Out Opt-out Message (click to see the settings for this item)
Text Body Text of the text message, including headers, footers and required email components (unsubscribe, opt-out and physical address)
HTML Body Image of the HTML Message.
