Does CiviCRM provide mapping functions?

CiviCRM does integrate with mapping providers in a few different ways:

  • The first is from search and uses the action dropdown. All contacts that have a lattitude and longitude get mapped

The site administrator sets up mapping at Administer CiviCRM, under Configure, Global Settings and then Mapping and Geocoding. See Mapping and Geocoding for more information.

After enabling your provider, you many need to use this script to generate latitude / longitude information for your existing contacts:
