Where do you control the content layout? Is there away to change the "home page" and menus?

CiviCRM can currently be 'hosted' in either of two Content Management Systems (CMSs) — Drupal or Joomla. You will be working with the features of the host CMS to create and edit your home page and other content, including menus. Check out the Drupal and Joomla sites for documentation, forums, and more information.

Subsets of your CiviCRM contact data can also be 'exposed' to non-CiviCRM users (this is sometimes referred to as sharing contact info on the 'front-end'). This is done using CiviCRM Profile features (see PROFILES ).

Starting with version 1.7, you can create customized copies of the "templates" which control page layout for any screen if you have some knowledge of HTML. See Customizing CiviCRM Screens for more information.

Menus within CiviCRM are currently not configurable. However this is on our roadmap for a future release.
