Can I use custom fields in CiviMember?
I'm in the middle of a migration from a legacy membership system and there's a few hurdles that custom fields
- "pass up benefits" if the contact doesn't want to receive the 4 DVD set etc.
- "complimentary" there are 7 levels of membership. An admin can assign a contact to any level as complimentary. I don't want to make 14 different membership levels for this.
There is support for adding custom fields to Membership records in 1.7. They can be used to extend ANY membership type or linked to a specific membership type.
