Campaign with Survey

  • Login as admin
  • Create a Survey Constituents group (all individuals in the DB for example)
  • Create a Campaign and select that group
  • Create Custom Data group used for Activities -> Survey and add ~2 "questions". One s/b radio, one checkbox.
  • Create Profile with the 2 custom fields in it
  • Create Survey, select your new activity profile
  • Reserve a subset of My Constituents for the 'volunteer' user's contact
  • Login as volunteer
  • Use "Conduct Survey" to record some results
  • Use "Interview Responsents" to record some results (don't record results for all reserved contacts)
  • Login is admin and release respondents for "Volunteer" who haven't been recorded
  • Use Find Activities to check responses for a few respondents - View Activity for a few, and then Export Activities
NOTE: I don't think we have any report yet to view responses across a survey.

Campaign with Petition

  • Login as admin
  • Create a Petition (no campaign), select contact profile
  • Copy the "Sign Petition" url (so you can access it later)
  • Login as volunteer and Sign Petition
  • Logout and "Sign Petition" as anonymous
  • Log back in as admin and check "Signatures" from Petition dashboard (Once Xavier has committed his stuff, this should take you to Find Activities w/ your petition selected as the Survey in search criteria)
  • View and export petition activities

GOTV

  • Login as admin
  • Create a My Voters group (all individuals in the DB for example)
  • Create a Campaign and select that group
  • Create "GOTV 2010" survey, select contact profile and your new activity profile
  • Reserve a subset of My Voters for the 'volunteer' user's contact (for GOTV 2010 survey) - based on address criteria (to try and model precinct-based reservation)
  • Login as volunteer
  • Use "Respondent Listing" to record that some folks have voted
  • Login as admin and find respondents for "Volunteer" who haven't yet voted (NOTE: not sure how you do this - but I think it's necessary part of this flow??)
