    What about the version conflict(s) between Civicspace (which does NOT run on PHP5) and CivicCRM? Do you know if CS is going to be PHP5-based soon?

    Charlie,
    We are not aware of CivicSpace/Drupal plans for PHP5 support - although there seems to be movement in that direction. You may want to check in with those dev lists for feedback.

    HOWEVER, we plan on distributing PHP5 and PHP4 versions of CiviCRM for the near to mid-term - so there shouldn't be a problem w/ version conficts.

    While using the Volunteer account I tried the advanced search and got a perms error:

    Array
    (
    callback => Array
    (
    0 => CRM_Core_Error
    1 => handle
    )

    code => -26
    message => DB Error: insufficient permissions
    mode => 16
    debug_info => SELECT title FROM civicrm.civicrm_custom_group WHERE id = 1 nativecode=1142 ** SELECT command denied to user 'crm_trunk'@'localhost' for table 'civicrm_custom_group'
    type => db_error
    user_info => SELECT title FROM civicrm.civicrm_custom_group WHERE id = 1 nativecode=1142 ** SELECT command denied to user 'crm_trunk'@'localhost' for table 'civicrm_custom_group'
    to_string => [db_error: message="DB Error: insufficient permissions" code=-26 mode=callback callback=CRM_Core_Error::handle prefix="" info="SELECT title FROM civicrm.civicrm_custom_group WHERE id = 1 nativecode=1142 ** SELECT command denied to user 'crm_trunk'@'localhost' for table 'civicrm_custom_group'"]
    )

    The above bug has been resolved in a recent version. You can download them from

    Looks like a great product here.

    It's good to see the finance module as well. One thing I would like to see in it is the ability to designate funds to one of the accounts in the system. In our organization, funds can be designated to several hundered different accounts. Some are private, while others should be in a drop-down list for end users.

    Another thing you might want to think about with the donations: in some organizatoins, only certain employees should be able to see who's given/how much. Others need access to most of the system, but the finincial details are none of their business.

    Thanks!

    Steve.
