SFS School Module Installation Instructions

Steps to run and install the SFS school module:

Modules required

Install Drupal 6.x
Install CiviCRM 2.2.x (this will be changed to 3.1 during the christmas holidays)
Install user_import module
Install SFS module available at: http://svn.civicrm.org/sfschool/trunk/

Configure CiviCRM so it includes the SFS templates directory in the template path and the SFS root directory in the php include path
Load the XML files to create the custom groups/fields and profile groups/fields: http://svn.civicrm.org/sfschool/trunk/sql/SFSchool.xml (i'll create this file soon)

Set your dedupe rules based on your SIS export. For SFS we used first/last name, not great but thats what we had
Import (in create mode) all student information and the first parent information. Make sure you set the student subtype to be student and parent subtype to be parent
Import (in update mode) the same student information and the second parent information
Repeat till imported all parent information
Import all Staff information and set the subtype to be Staff
Create a relationship type for Advisor (id = 10)
Import the Student <-> Advisor Relationship (this will be used for PTC)
