CiviCRM records activities to generate a complete picture of interactions with a contact. Activities might be a phone call, email, meeting, or attending an event.
(A) Identify activities that you want to record.
CiviCRM comes with phone calls, meetings and emails "build in." You can configure any other custom activities you would like. A common activity that nonprofits track is attendence at an event.
(B) Create the activity type
- Go to "Administer CiviCRM"
- Click the "Activity Types" icon
- Create your activity types
