CiviCRM is highly configurable. Each of the steps below refers to a specific configurable element of CiviCRM. As part of your quick start, simply skip any step that is not relevant to your situation.

Step One: Organize Contacts (Relationship Types, Groups and Tags)

Set up relationship types, tags and groups.

Step Two: Customize contact data

Set up custom fields for individuals, organizations and households.

Step Three: Import existing contact information

Get your existing data into CiviCRM.

Step Four: Deciding what activities to record

Determine what interactions with a contact that you plan to record.

Step Five: Integrating with a website

Create connections between your website and the CRM repository.
