User Narratives.

Event Attendee and Planner

Narrative

Narrative description of what the user is doing with the CRM system. (Use as many words, paragraphs or pages as you want)

User sees an event s/he is interested in attending. During the registration/RSVP
process, a form is presented that asks if s/he wishes to help plan the event.

A list of potential planning activities is provided (dropdown list or checkboxes or radio buttons). The attendee chooses his/her interest and submits the
registration.

An example of planning activities: phone calling, passing out or designing
flyers for the event, and interfacing with local media about the event (e.g., placing
a nonprofit ad in a local paper).

Engage the attendees in the event planning process, thereby increasing
participation and also providing attendees with a sense of accomplishment
in having helped with the planning.

Success & Failure Conditions

Success: planning group size increased; a successful event.

Failure: no one signs up to help with the planning; no one shows up at the event.
