I've have no experience with CiviCRM. I'm primarily interested in:
EDIT: I should add that I come from a designer/developer background and I'm attending with an eye toward seeing how CiviCRM could be of use to a few on my non-profit clients...if not my other clients as well.

I have past professional experience as a non-profit fundraising manager and am currently a web designer working with Drupal. I am planning to install CiviCRM for a volunteer-run non-profit that supports my children's public school - we raise $100K/yr through mail, e-mail, and a spring event, so we will use all the CiviCRM components except Member and Case. I am hoping to get a sense of the issues involved in the initial setup and configuration, and see the future possibilities so that we properly prepare our data for migration. I am also particularly interested in permissions issues since we do not have a dedicated development staff so we would like to give different people access to different parts of the data.
I installed CiviCRM 2.1 (at the time that was current) on a Drupal sandbox and played with it a little, and am now doing the same with 3.1, but other than that I have no hands-on experience.
