Kindling Trust in Manchester, UK

We are an organisation called the Kindling Trust in Manchester, UK. We already use CiviCRM for our internal database of over 200 small and medium scale organic growers, market gardens, community projects, cafes and schools that are all interested in buying, selling and promoting sustainable food. We have a new drupal site which we are launching in two weeks and our aim is to enable all these projects to update their own information, communicate and coordinate with each other. We also need a public front end where people can find out where they can purchase locally grown food in their area. We have the database and we have the drupal site, what we are having trouble with is better integrating the two and developing a theme that will work with both our fixed drupal site and the liquid layout necessary for civicrm (we are currently working on this using zen - the most popular base for theme development).
Any help we could get on this would be very much appreciated and hopefully together we can Feed Manchester.
