Scope of work-related items
CRM-4399) [DD] Recent items block on left is neat, but doesn't seem to remember visiting cases, i.e. the Manage Case screen, or activities.
Bugs reported
Fixed.
CRM-4414)
a) [DD] Not sure where to go to add our custom fields to the new contact overlay for the new case screen.
b) [DD] Case dashboard still has a button that says "New case for New Client". It should say "New Case".
Fixed. dgg
CRM-4480)
a) [DD] My personal thinking is that the subject text should match the "name/value" paradigm as opposed to putting value first and then the name, but I'll get some more feedback.
b) [DD] Just want to confirm that it intentionally does not send an email to the assignee. (This is the correct behavior.)
CRM-4478)
a) [DD] Creating a new activity has the priority default to Normal, but editing a prepopulated one has it default to "- select priority -". It should probably be consistent, or see (b).
b) [DD] Being picky but what is the difference between Normal and "- select priority -"? Here "null" is actually the same as Normal. Alternatively, it could be required with the default being Normal without affecting anything.
CRM-4478 updated with changes to make the field required and eliminate the select option.

Other CiviCase-related items for 2.3
1) [DD] The reported by field on a case activity is still the old style.
This is the "single select auto-complete" widget. dgg
2) a) [DD] Screen-scrolling off to the right has improved, but on the cases tab on a person's contact record, it scrolls off to the right of the screen even more than before (going outside the enclosing box).
b) [DD] Similarly the find cases results page still scrolls off to the right.
Column headers shortened. Will be looking at font-size issue in all tabs shortly - it's a css conflict.
3) [DD] Scheduling a followup without a subject causes "null - John Smith ()" to be put into the recent items list.
Bugs reported
Fixed.
4) [DD] The new style of the view case activity overlay screen has the wrong default size. In particular for open case, you get two sets of scrollbars and the inner one is mostly covered by the outer one. So every single time you have to resize the window.
See 2) above (css issue).
Other CiviCRM in 2.3
A) [DD] New menu bar is great, and I understand the rationale behind clickmenu's design goal of making it function like a desktop application's menu. However, this is not the expected behavior for web sites where it would normally drop down just by hovering. Having said that, it's only confusing the first time, although even after that I was left scratching my head as to why it would work that way until I visited the clickmenu plugin page.
B) [DD] On a 1024 pixel wide screen it's not physically possible to reach the second level of submenus under Administer.
Kurund has committed a new version which respects browser window boundaries. Please give it a whirl.
C) [DD] The menu selections in the dropdown portion have no spaces in the text. Codes instead of labels, maybe?
Also none of the drop-down links work? Might be something about how I upgraded from svn 2.2?
?? dgg
D) [DD] The menu disappears when I log in as a user who doesn't have access to everything. Not sure exactly which permission is needed.
E) [DD] The My Contact Dashboard link (still in the old menu section in the sidebar) is visually disconnected from the rest of the links.
Styling issue. Will fix prior to release.
F) [DD] Couldn't see where to add options to the favorites menu?
G) [DD] The recent items block doesn't have the usual restriction to only view on civicrm pages, so it looks all odd because the css isn't loaded.

Fixed.
