Use this page to describe potential enhancements to the CiviReport framework and to specific reports.

Drilldown links improvements

• Links from Summary to Detail reports should point to the detail report TEMPLATE and not to an instance - since instances are installation specific and hence the links might not be correct.

• Links should pass in the relevant 'filter' info in the URL query string so that the detail report display can reflect the linked summary row as much as possible. If a particular filter is not available in the detail report, it can be ignored. EXAMPLE: The Donor Summary currently passes filter info for Contact ID OR for Receive Date Range to the Donor Detail. It should also pass contribution type, contribution status and other relevant group by fields as filters.
