This is a screen mockup for the CiviCase Dashboard based on the CiviPledge Dashboard for the user Claire. The dashboard will be the system user (the case manager or other service provider)'s screen to keep track of all of the cases that they are involved with. They will need to be able to see the cases with recent, and upcoming activities. For supervisors and for users who are entering data but are not actually service providers, they will need to be able to see the cases that they are involved with (as with all users) as well as ALL cases.
Users may want to be able to see the tally of their cases by role (sometimes people can have many different roles that they play in different cases) as well as by case type and status.
Notes:
1. This is the Dashboard for user Claire, and there should be a link here to the Dashboard for all cases for a Supervisor or user who is not a service provider(see note 5).
2. This table could also have the following axes: role/case type, role/status as well as the shown case type/status. Is it possible to have the user choose the axis? Another example, role / status, is shown below.
3. Some case types are: Substance Use & Addictions, Relationship, Mental Health, Behavioural, Physical, Medical, Cognitive & Aging.
New cases will be those to which a user has been assigned but has not yet taken action. On hold/Inactive cases are those which are still open but have not had / do not have any planned activity for a certain period of time.
4. The totals here (the tallies) should be active links to summary lists of cases. For example, clicking on the 5 would go to a list of New cases of Case Type 1. If the axes were status/role, then the total would link to a list of, for example, Active cases where I am Role x.
5. Recent activity by current user, or by all users. Sometimes there will be a user who is not an active service provider (e.g. a clinical administrator) and will need to see cases with recent activity by all users. This should include cases with recently passed activity as well as cases with upcoming activity.
